CH-2 Lead Guide
Mrs. TSABEEH OMER
KMS feels like home. My favorite part is when the students greet me in the morning and call my name to say hi and express their love whenever they see me. In addition, all the staff are nice and cooperative.
The thing I like most about the Montessori method is its focus on individualized learning. There is freedom for children to learn at their own pace and to be more independent, no matter the age, they are learning to make choices and decisions about their work. The Montessori method inspires confidence, nurtures the child’s innate desire for learning, discovery, and social interactions in their environment. In a traditional preschool, kids learn the same things at the same time, in the same ways, and are expected to meet the same benchmarks, yet Montessori enables children to understand the world and choose their place within it at their own pace.
Giving a new presentation for my children and seeing the excitement in their eyes is something I enjoy doing. The most fascinating thing about Montessori materials is that it’s designed for children to learn independently. The materials are enticing and simple to use.
In so many ways, I’ve learned a lot since joining KMS, and I consider myself fortunate to be trained to upgrade professionally in all the possible ways by having foundational studies training and also being trained to deal with and understand the physiological needs of the children.

Ms. NIHAL OSMAN
Let me start by stating that KMS fosters a friendly, respectful, and supportive environment. Currently, I’m enrolled in a course about the Montessori Method, my role as a guide is to learn to follow the child and I’m learning to work with a team, all of which is allowing my knowledge and practice, both with children and adults, to develop.
The educational method Montessori adopts, and the confidence building it does with the child is what I admire about it. Montessori respects the pace of each child, unlike the traditional method which forces certain speed to covering the preset curriculum. This way, Montessori allows children to master what they learn and grow confident in their abilities. It also sets children up for independence, and that, again, aids in building their confidence.
Most Montessori materials are self corrective, they allow the children to recognize their own mistakes and to solve it alone. So once I’ve shown the children how to use the materials, it is the materials that teach the child – without me having to interfere.

I graduated with an Honors bachelor’s degree in computer science, and recently accomplished my postgraduate diploma in human rights. It inspired me to see the world from a different perspective and helped me understand that changing the next generation’s thoughts and understanding of the genuine, enormous values of humanity and human beings, as well as understanding and dealing with life, starts in the classroom. My four years of experience in teaching with a true passion for the profession lead me to understand that appropriate education is the solid foundation for better youth, better in all aspects of life. Education is the key factor for success. It gives us knowledge of skills and ethics that have been in the world in which we learn, as it helps us to progress further. Freedom of choice and leaving room for creativity are fundamental to the Montessori approach, and that’s what attracted me the most to Montessori method. ” Establishing lasting Peace is the work of education, all politics can do is keep us out of war” Maria Montessori.

The environment in KMS is warm and friendly and encourages learning and growth even amongst adults. Children are free to explore their interests, are treated with dignity and respect, and are taught independence and responsibility from such a young age.
They don’t just receive information, they experience the process of learning and engage themselves in the activities associated with it until they feel confident to move on to a harder level.
