The Montessori 6–9 curriculum capitalizes on exploring, creativeness, and autonomous learning. Movement fills the world of a child, that’s why the children’s environment is well prepared with attractive resources and ample opportunity to connect with nature and their surroundings, resultantly facilitating growth and fostering peace while being harmonious with the bodies and brains of these busy and active young children.
Entering their second developmental stage, the primary child is characterized by the “reasoning mind,” having a natural curiosity about how things work, and in this stage, the curriculum moves towards variety and specialty.
